ALIFBATA: journal of basic education is a peer-reviewed open access journal for scholars, practitioners, and students. Committed to promoting ideas, educational development and equity for students in basic education, children's and cross-cultural backgrounds, fun learning for children, and leadership and policy. Alifbata publishes 4 types of articles: (1) qualitative research studies that explicitly discuss basic education issues; (2) quantitative research studies for the purpose of testing and developing conceptual and theoretical insights, usually based on in-depth literature reviews, that advance elementary education theory and scholarship; (3) practical articles or classroom reports that discuss the success of basic education practice based on reasonable theory and literature, and/or the results of critical analysis reviews/scoping reviews/mapping reviews/bibliometric analysis and/or educational practice reports in basic education, and (4 ) mixed method study on current basic education issues. We welcome high-quality submissions from global communities in education, anthropology, sociology, cultural studies, and other social sciences.

This journal has been accredited by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Republic of Indonesia with Five Grade (Sinta 5) since the year 2021 to 2025 according to decree No. 152/E/KPT/2023
