Author Guidelines
Format
The body layout of the article should be arranged in one column. This document is prepared in a format that should be used by every writer in his article. Each article submitted must conform to the specifications below in order to maintain the quality of the journal's appearance;
- A4 paper size (21 cm x 29.7 cm)
- On the 1st page, the top margin (the distance between the top edge of the paper and the top of the first line of the title) is 4.0 cm. While on the 2nd page and beyond, the top margin is 3.0 cm.
- The left, bottom, and right margins for the entire article page are 2.5 cm.
The distance between the Header and the edge of the paper is 1.5 cm, while the Footer is 2 cm. - The total number of pages for each article is between 10-15 pages or equivalent to 4000-7000 words
- This writing instruction file already uses the rules and recommended standard writing format, so it can be directly used as a template.
While the provisions for letters and paragraphs Font used is Tahoma for all styles. The font size that should be used in the article is 18 point bold (for the title), 11 point (for the author's name), 10 point (for affiliation, and email address), 11 point italic (for the abstract, and keywords), 10 point (for the body text and title of sections and subsections), as well as 10 points (for headers and footers). Mathematical formulas must be in the form of Equations measuring 10 points (Insert Equation tab menu), with slightly smaller subscripts and superscripts (9 points).
The title is written in the center (centered) at the top of the first page. The author's name (without title) is placed under the title, followed by the affiliation and email address of the first author, all centered. While the name of the correspondent is written in the first footnote. The abstract must be written in the middle (centered) after the identity of the author, with a size of 10 italics, and written in two languages, namely Indonesian and English. The English abstract is written after the Indonesian abstract. The maximum number of words in the abstract is 150-200 words. Keywords are included after the abstract, totaling between 3 to 4 (four) keywords written in 10 point italics, to indicate the subject matter of your article, as well as for indexing needs. The left and right margins of the abstract are 4 cm (indenting 1 cm from the page margin).
Submit Manuscripts
Authors must send article manuscripts in two file formats, namely (1) one file with the full name of the author written for the editorial board; and (2) one file without including the author's name for the peer-review process. If there are other files from the main article manuscript or supporting data, the author can also send them as supporting files
The manuscript must contain the following sections in this order:
Title : Article titles in Indonesian must describe the main contents of the manuscript, be informative, concise, and not too wordy (only 12-15 words), and not contain formulas.
Name of authors : Full name without academic degree and title, written in capital letters. Manuscripts written by groups need to be accompanied by complete contact details. Affiliate name for each author. The author's name must be accompanied by full affiliation address, zip code number, and email address.
Abstract : Written briefly in English and Indonesian in one paragraph of 150-200 words, contains background, research objectives, methodology, results, research conclusions, and your research contribution to science.
Keywords : Written in Indonesian 3-5 words or groups of words, written alphabetically.
Introduction : Explain the background which includes the problem/issue/phenomena, the importance of the research, a brief literature review that is directly related to the research or previous findings that need to be developed, and ends with a paragraph of research objectives. The introduction is presented in the form of a paragraph of about 1000 words.
Method : Clearly describe the approach and type of research used. Research methods and data analysis. Explain using Sub; approaches and types, Instruments, Data Collection, and Data Analysis.
Findings Results and Discussion : With development research or other design, well-prepared tables and or figures should be an important feature of this section, as they convey key observations to the reader. Any information provided in tables and figures should no longer be repeated in the text, but the text should focus on the importance of the main research findings.
Conclusion : Conclusions must be drawn based on research findings, problem formulation, and research objectives. Conclusions are presented in one paragraph without any form of numerical expression. Describe the contribution of your research to previous research and/or the advancement of knowledge in Mathematics education.
Acknowledgment
Contributors who are not named as authors should be acknowledged, and their specific contributions should be explained. All sources of funding for the work must be identified, and both research funders and grant numbers (if any) must be given for each source of funds.
Reference : Manuscripts are written using standard citation applications (Mendeley/Endnote/Zotero). APA (American Psychological Association) reference style is required. References of at least 15 with references from the last 10 years in both relevant book references and articles.
Submission Requirements
You must read and acknowledge that you've completed the requirements below before proceeding.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author's Guidelines.
