At-Tadbir: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam accepts articles on the practice of management functions including planning, organizing, leading/actuating and controlling in Islamic educational institutions (Islamic Boarding Schools, Madrasahs and Islamic Higher Education), as well as on leadership, policy making and organizational change in Islamic educational institutions.

At-Tadbir: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam specifically accepts articles that contribute to this field in the followings:

Scholarly articles that utilize empirical evidence to provide new insights into the practice of management functions, leadership, policy making and organizational change in Islamic educational institutions;

Scholarly articles that explore alternative, critical and reconceptualized views on the management functions, leadership, policy making and organizational change in Islamic educational institutions;

Scholarly articles that provide an up-to-date review in a national or international context of the management functions, leadership, policy making and organizational change in Islamic educational institutions;

Scholarly articles that report new empirical findings that provide original contributions to the field of Islamic educational management;

Scholarly articles that provide theoretical contributions that broaden and deepen our understanding of key issues related to the management functions of leadership, policy making and organizational change in Islamic educational institutions;

Scholarly articles that focus primarily on issues of management and leadership functions but are intended for academic, policy-making, and practitioner audiences; Contributions from policy-makers and practitioners, which have a clear focus on management and leadership functions.

Contributors should be aware that articles that fall outside the explicit aims and scope of the journal will not be considered.
