    Alif Lam: Journal of Islamic Studies and Humanities aims to bridge the gap between textual and contextual approaches to Islamic studies and the humanities. Studies focus on the following topics: theology (kalam); fiqh jinayah (Islamic jurisprudence); tasawwuf (Sufism); Islamic ecology; Islamic philosophy; Qur'anic values ​​in social life; spirituality; Islamic language and literature; Islamic manuscripts and traditions; Islamic philanthropy; Islamic politics; multicultural Islamic education; Islamic educational values ​​and society; religious social movements; social history; Islamic clinical psychology, Islamic economics and tourism, and Islamic communication; and sociolinguistics. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars from related disciplines. The languages ​​used in the journal are English and Arabic.

    At-Tadbir publishes research on the discipline of Islamic education management, primarily focusing on the practice of management functions, including planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling in Islamic educational institutions (Islamic boarding schools, madrasas, and Islamic higher education institutions), as well as on leadership, policymaking, and organizational change in Islamic educational institutions.
