Abstrak

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas pemandu wisata dalam aktivitas bird watching di Kawasan Konservasi Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Kerandangan, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Potensi besar bird watching di kawasan ini belum termanfaatkan secara optimal karena keterbatasan pengetahuan, keterampilan guiding, serta minimnya promosi digital dari pemandu lokal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis dan non-teknis, penerapan teknologi digital, pendampingan, serta strategi keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan pemandu dalam mengidentifikasi burung, teknik guiding, serta pemanfaatan media sosial untuk promosi ekowisata. Selain itu, tumbuh kesadaran konservasi di kalangan masyarakat lokal dan terbentuk kelompok kerja pemandu wisata sebagai modal sosial dalam menjaga keberlanjutan program. Dengan demikian, penguatan kapasitas pemandu wisata berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan daya tarik ekowisata bird watching sekaligus mendukung konservasi lingkungan di TWA Kerandangan.
